Covid-19
Following the guidance of the CDC, WHO, State of Illinois and the City in Chicago I have put in place several safety measures to insure the health of myself and for all of my guests. Please take note at the following.
Masks:
Masks are mandatory for guests as well as myself. You can bring your own, and I will have disposable masks available as well.
Sanitizer:
There is hand sanitizer at the entrance of the building right when you walk in the front door. Please wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before entering the studio, for your safety and the safety of others.
Sanitation:
I have completed two sanitation courses from Barbicide. One that is a refresher course on general sanitation and the second is specific to stopping the spread of Covid-19. All tools used on guests will be properly sanitized and disinfected along with the chair and shampoo bowl.
Questionnaire and Illness:
You will need to fill out a questionnaire before coming to Roam. If you do not feel well or if someone in your home is not well, I kindly ask for you to rebook your appointment. In this case, there will be no cancellation fee.
Guests and Children:
You must come alone. No guests or children will be allowed.
No Snacks and Coffee Bar:
In accordance to the new guidelines I will no longer have snacks and a beverage station available. I will have bottled water available.
Touch-less Greetings and Goodbyes:
I’m a hugger, as many of you know, but for the time being we can’t shake hands or hug. This might be the hardest change for me.
Attire and personal items:
Please limit the number of personal items you bring in the salon. I will provide a sanitized bin you can place your items in when you arrive. Also, when you walk into the salon, I'll give you a freshly cleaned robe to wear.
Payment and Gratuities:
I am already a cashless business, but if you do wish to tip, I cannot accept cash at this time. All tips must be done through electronic payment.
